Fresh off the back of a year filled to the brim with lively and ecstatic releases, Melbourne dude FRESH HEX knows exactly how to keep fans on their toes.

He's just given us the first taste of his forthcoming EP Reflective Romantic that will be out early in 2016 (and let me tell you, you better get damn excited for it because it certainly is something special). This first single 'When You Were Mine' is the head-bopping anthem 2015 has sorely missed.

But luckily, Fresh Hex has proved that the best things really do get saved for last, as this bubbly number is teeming with fresh beats and a high-pitched demeanour that all meshes together to drop into this aerobic and dynamic hook.

It's that chorus of "uh-huh"'s that lay dormant in the background that gives this one a real forward thrust.

Fresh Hex is no doubt a dynamic and innovative producer. His sound has consistently been infectious, bubbly and extremely out there, and I don't know about you, but I can't wait to hear this one out on the D-floor.

Fresh Hex's Reflective Romantic EP will be out early in 2016 on Sidechains' label.
