Live Review: SOUNDCLOUD WRAP: Roseau

5 October 2015 | 11:33 am | Tom Hutchins

considering Roseau has collaborated with people like Lapalux and Lianne La Havas - it's pretty unsurprising that her SoundCloud Wrap is so damn varied.

ROSEAU (aka Kerry Leatham) is making some of most diverse and creative R&B going around right now.

Across her debut LP, Salt, Roseau takes on bass heavy electronica, glitchy beats, synth-pop, bright instrumentation and haunting sampling. Wrapping it up within her powerful, yet smooth vocal range.

We reached out to Leatham to see what she's been listening to lately, and considering the above, plus the fact she's collaborated with people like Lapalux, Bonobo and Lianne La Havas - it's pretty unsurprising that her SoundCloud Wrap is so damn varied.

Michael Ozone's Liital Rhythm

Amazing rework of Aby Ngana Diop's track. THAT RHYTHM!

The Naked Eye 'Sweet Boy'

30 seconds in, sexy as hell.

Cornelia 'Oh Well'

Beautiful dreamy leftfield pop. Reminds me of Kirby's Dreamland on Gameboy.

Quirky sweet synth pop. makes me want to go on a road trip

Simple but good sound palette, kind of has early noughties pop R&B vibes.

Litany 'Woman'

That guitar, those drums. Hot.

Jaakko Eino Kalevi 'Pass The Cat'

As epic as the title

Peter Lyons 'Leave Me'

Beautiful, this will always be on any playlist I have

Tarquin 'Kid U'

Holy Fuck! Try not to bop your head to this, incredible beats.

Morgan Hislop 'Antelope House'

Epic and Weird as hell. Repeat.
