Live Review: Deutsch Duke 'Harder Without You'
It's kind of hard to believe that DEUTSCH DUKE only made his solo debut a little over a year ago now. He's got a new one out called 'Harder Without You'.
It's kind of hard to believe that DEUTSCH DUKE only made his solo debut a little over a year ago now. With an innumerable amount of tracks heading to ears across the world, as well as working with some pretty big names - think Flight Facilities and Set Mo, he's only heading upwards from here.
And if his new track is any indication of the talent this guy holds, it's only going to get bigger for him.
'Harder Without You' showcases an incredible amount of what Deutsch Duke has to offer. A skilful eye for production that feels clean yet eclectic tends to be most prominent, however for me what stands out is that voice.

It's controlled; big when it needs to be, moody when it needs to be, and above all, knows when to turn it up just that notch higher. I love how this song absolutely showcases the extent of his voice. It's the cleanliness of his falsetto tied together with the kind of soulful undertones that feel a little Sam Smith to me.
But overall, it's this amalgamation of genres that makes separates this one from the rest. There's elements of soul, house, pop and classic dance all tucked away in there, and rather than feeling like a lesson in history, this one feels more like a push towards something different and unheard.
Deutsch Duke's got a huge couple of months ahead of him, so it's only natural that we're stoked to be following this journey.
