LOUISAHHH!!! and Maelstrom Launch Label Imprint, RAAR

Here's a news story that makes perfect sense. They're always collaborating with each other, and now it's reached peak levels as LOUISAHHH!!! and MAELSTROM have just announced a brand new label imprint - RAAR.

It's been described by the duo as “a techno label for punk rockers, a punk rock label for techno-heads”. There will be a focus on artist driven releases,  as the label will be used to explore the frontiers of techno, just as LOUISAHHH!!! and Maelstrom have been doing for years.

Throw in a collaboration with The Vinyl Factory (each RAAR release will be pressed to vinyl); a promise to keep releases as pay-what-you-want offerings and include open source material (we're talking beats, acapellas, instrumentals and sound bank); AND pieces of art, poems, a stories or photographs will be dropped with each audio component.

RAAR's first release is due out in November and will feature both Maelstrom and LOUISAHHH!!! as well as Roijacker, a group made up of Dave Clarke, Black Asteroid and Mr Jones.
