Live Review: Gallant 'Weight In Gold' (Sweater Beats Remix)

Since GALLANT released his track 'Weight In Gold', a plethora of producers and DJs have stepped up to the task of taking on the huge track and reworking it into something their own. However, none have sounded quite as brilliant as SWEATER BEATS and his rendition.

No stranger to remixes, Sweater Beats does the original so much justice. Lead by deep synths, things get pretty crazy and features some live (and searing hot) guitar work from the man himself. Sticking to his strengths when it comes to percussion, unpredictable beats race ahead to a huge drop with massive crashes and breakneck beats.

Keeping Gallant's undeniable original vocals in tact, Sweater Beats is the master of controlled chaos in this rework. Following dynamic ebbs and flows is one of Sweater Beats' best traits,  and he exercises that to full effect with 'Weight In Gold'. This remix is lush, hard hitting, punchy in all the right places and just that little bit frenzied to really bring it home.

Sweater Beats continues to be one of the most exciting producers in the game right now, and Gallant remains one to keep both eyes on seeing as he's capable of tracks like this. Sweater Beats' remix is available for free download via SoundCloud.
