Live Review: Chrome Sparks 'Mannus & Venus'
Playing Future Classic's American takeover party series, Chrome Sparks has revealed his track, 'Mannus & Venus', available on the FC 2015 Sampler!
Australian tastemakers, FUTURE CLASSIC are heading over to the mighty US of A to hold a string of intimate club nights. Featuring a tonne of artists, the party series will see the likes of Classixx, SOPHIE, Cyril Hahn, Touch Sensitive, Charles Murdoch and a stack more.
As part of the New York leg of the tour, Brooklyn's CHROME SPARKS will be joining a plethora of artists to help put on a massive party. Amping up this and the other two sh0ws, Future Classic have shared with us a bundle of unreleased tunes from those performing acts, including Chrome Sparks', 'Mannus & Venus'.
Coated in a layer of dust, a playful trinket crawls its way into, 'Mannus & Venus', sporting a nostalgic demeanour to erupt the sonic territory. Bombed out by the confidence of a huge synth display, 'Mannus & Venus' proves to be a plentiful anthem of surrounding noise. Rinsing a myriad of tones and timbre, something about the chosen organ-like soundscapes resonate with that of vintage arcade games, tranced by the sense that the player is on an 8-bit winning streak. A monumental listen, Chrome Sparks has truly delivered with, 'Mannus & Venus'.
