RDGLDGRN (RedGoldGreen) have just released some of the most high energy visuals we've seen in months, heralding their triumphant return to the scene this year. Titled 'Runnin Away', the track is a solid blend between rap and rock, and the clip is infectious in it's infectious good vibes.

Considering their last EP released in 2013 had contributions from Dave Grohl, it's safe to say expectations were high for this trio. Thankfully, they've taken whatever sort of pressure was on then and turned out 'Runnin Away'. Keeping the visuals to a stark black and white colour scheme, the self directed clip features live performance footage as well as scenes from the boys messing around, but the simplistic take let's the song itself fill in the colour.

The hook is liberating, the riff is bouncy and fun, and the lyrics are optimistic and feel good; all key ingredients in making this song as great as it is. You can't not feel the "all or nothing" mentality RDGLDGRN are putting down here, with lyrics like "If I die tonight / Ima die runnin". Having these lyrics playing over some incredible live footage, with many crowd surfing scenes, amps up the excitement and intensity of 'Runnin Away' with breakneck speed.

RDGLDGRN are said to be dropping their second EP, Red Gold Green EP2 this October, and it's safe to say expectations have been raised pretty high after 'Runnin Away'. However, considering the trio can list GrohlPharrell and Angel Haze as past collaborators, we're pretty confident they're sitting on something really special and we can't wait to hear it!
