A finalist in last years Triple J Unearthed, Lupa J AKA Imogen Jones, transitioned from classically trained violinist to electronic artist at the ripe age of 15. You can hear this background throughout ‘Quiet Here’, with strong synthesised strings flowing through the whole track, helping to create the sad yet ghostly tone.

Lupa J’s music has been described as “dream pop” and you can understand why once you have listened to ‘Quiet Here’. The lyrics ask “Was it all in my head? Were you all in my head?” making you question exactly what she is talking about and if she was really there when the events took place.
