Good Greef Announce Inaugural Music & Arts Festival

15 July 2015 | 9:52 am | Hannah Galvin

Sydney events collective, Good Greef, have announced their inaugural music and arts mini-festival, in support of WWF Australia.

Yeah, it's no secret that our sublime Great Barrier Reef is under attack. With the government proposing some pretty harmful interruptions to its large ecosystem, alongside the damage that comes with climate change, who know what the future holds for our marine wonderland.

Strongly protesting against this immoral act is Sydney events collective, GOOD GREEF. Keeping the Reefs best interests at heart, the not-for-profit crew are holding their very first, eponymous event in Sydney next month; in support of World Wildlife Fund Australia.

With a strong music and arts focus, an esteemed Sydney lineup will be providing a soundtrack of psych rock, blues and rowdy garage tunes, for Smaal Cats, Suns Of The UniverseSalvador Dali Llama and The Dinlows will take to the Factory Floor stage of a cruisey Sunday afternoon. The good times don't stop there though, as some intensely talented local creatives will be adorning the Factory Theatre courtyard with visual works; all whilst you punters partake in the silly fun activities in exchange for some loose change.

Good Greef is taking place at The Factory in Sydney on Sunday, 9th August from 3pm. Tickets are available now, with all proceeds going straight to WWF Australia's Great Barrier Reef Conservation Fund. Why not help fight the good fight?
