East Londoners FINE PRINT have announced the release of their self-titled EP through B3SCI Records in August. They have shared a revamped version of their demo single ‘About You’ with the world to get everyone nice and keen for this EP.

Fine Print was formed through a mutual love of  Shuggie Otis' soul and the hip-hop of J Dilla. Interesting combination for an electronic duo, but it seems to really be working out for them.

These influences are evident in throughout the EP, and in ‘About You’, but there is also the constant percussion beat, and clear influences of underground electronic synth fused with the standardised format of hip hop, soul and pop.

Releasing demos in late 2014 Fine Print got love from the likes of Zane Lowe and Annie Mac, which landed the attention of heavyweight producer Dan Carey who mixed the EP. This guy has worked with the likes of Tame Impala and Hot Chip, it's safe to say with this impressive name drop list that Fine Print’s EP is going to be one epic piece of work.

The duo are still in awe that their first ever finished piece of music, ‘About You’, ended up being re-mixed by Carey. If you have heard it, you’ll get it.

You can pre-order the EP now through B3SCI Records in time for the August 28 release. This includes the opportunity to get your paws on the vinyl release of the EP which is always something special.
