Live Review: Eves The Behavior 'TV' (Warpaint Steez Remix)

20 year old Brisbanite EVES THE BEHAVIOR continues her fantastic run lately, with the percussionist of veteran group WARPAINT, Stella Mozgawa (going under the name Steez), stepping up for remix duties of her track, 'TV'. 

The remix comes after the original track was released earlier this year, and was responsible for her getting onto something seriously good - which she reiterated with her following single 'Electrical'. However, we haven't heard her quite like this before.

The once dark and brooding track has been turned into a bouncy, bassy, glitchy dream thanks to Warpaint. Huge, hard hitting drums; stuttered synth chords; deep, plunging bass; and the beautiful, smoky original vocals of (real name) Hannah Karydas make up the new rework, with Stella really showing off her remixing chops.

Of course, Warpaint are hardly strangers to remixes, having also remixed the likes of Daughter and Shura as well as many more, but this is perhaps their best yet. As for Eves The Behavior, things just keep getting better for the young artist, who nabbed a few spots at Laneway Festival earlier this year, as well as having support slots for Sky Ferreira, and will be playing at Splendour In The Grass later this month too. Talk about being an act to watch, we are keeping a strong eye on this one!
