LANCELOT is his name, and he’s got a new EP out called ‘Mover’. ‘Everything On Its Way Down’ encompasses what would definitely be the essence of his sound.

He’s a Sydney boy at heart, but the world’s rapidly taking on his incredible name and demeanour when it comes to creating some pretty sharp sounds.

It’s endearing, yet quite sincere in its quiet demeanour. It’s tactile and fragile at the same time, a capability not shared by many.

I particularly love how the sampled vocals make this one feel so warm, and almost take it down a few notches into an almost dream-like haze, transporting you from harsh percussive hits to an incredibly well balanced sound scape.

It sneaks up on you this one. Clocking in at 5:41, it feels like its over before you know it. I don’t know whether it’s the driving force of the percussion or the subtle nature of the track, but it’s definitely been executed well and whittled down to absolute perfection.
