2 June 2015 | 12:35 pm | Tony Kingston

For the final instalment of this little series, we asked some of the national scene's youngest and most promising artists.

So you already know that after Splendour In The Grass announced their 2015 line up, and SOLD OUT the whole festival on the day tickets were released, we contacted a bunch of the Australian artists on the bill for their favourite memories of the festival. So far we've spoken to people like FLIGHT FACILITIESARA KOUFAX, SET MO and a heap more.

For the final instalment of this little series, we asked some of the national scene's youngest and most promising artists. All who have been selected to feature at SITG this year, more evidence of their potential. What do they remember and who do they want to see this year? It's all below.

TKAY MAIDZA

Best Splendour Memory: Being at Splendour last year was a dream come true, but seeing Childish Gambino live and meeting him was probably the best moment.

Artist Pick for 2015: MØ - she's going to be excellent. I can't wait to see her!

YOUNG FRANCO

Best Splendour Memory: Probably the first year I went in 2013. I don't think anything can compare to the first time you go to a festival like that. Seeing Flight Facilities play was definitely a highlight. I love how engaging they were. With acts like them it's all about the experience.

Artist Pick for 2015: Hayden James! Every time I see Hayden play he blows me away. His music is phenomenal and his live set is amazing too. I come away from sets like his inspired.

UV BOI

Best Splendour Memory: This will be my first Splendour so I'm hella hyped!!! I've got heaps of friends on the bill, it's going to be lit. Lesgetit!

Artist Pick for 2015: Young Franco, Cosmo's Midnight, Japanese Wallpaper, Tkay Maidza, Alison Wonderland, Allday, Seekae, Earl Sweatshirt, Shlohmo, Peking Duk, Dune Rats & Porter Robinson.

AKOUO

Best Splendour Memory: I've never been able to witness SITG as a crowd member, let alone as a performer, so to be honest I'm excited to experience it from a fan's perspective. I'mma make use of my time and try check out the whole three days.

Artist Pick for 2015: I'm so keen to check out Shlohmo, I've been a fan for a couple of years and I feel like he's a rare example of someone whose music might be chill and hard to dance to, but the musical integrity still shines through. I really respect artists who can both avoid current trends but still stay relevant.

FLIGHT FACILITIES (Hugo)

Best Splendour Memory: Hugo from Flight Facilities has an incredible Splendour related story to tell you all, which we had to turn into a separate feature it was that long. We highly recommend you read all about it HERE!

Artist Pick for 2015: Mark Ronson. We played a pretty insignificant support slot between him and Tame Impala at Future Music way back in 2011. Knowing how far our show has come since then, I can only assume his is incredible based on how much fun it was. I think he writes beautifully structured pop music and is a shining light for modern music with classic integrity. I think it'll be a really fun show to be at. It should also go without saying that the Tame Impala performance will be flawless too. Maybe Kevin will join Ronson on stage?
