Live Review: Gold Fields Guest Mix For Purple Sneakers On FBi Click

It's time for an epic return for Ballarat bred, GOLD FIELDS - after two years of sharing their infectious sub-tropical electro-pop with the World, they're on their way back home for a couple of massive reasons.

First off, Gold Fields have announced that they'll be sharing the stage with electro-chanteuse and current JJJ House Party leader, KLP, as they bring their sunshine flavoured music across the country over the next month. To back that up, the dudes have also announced that a new single 'Lakeside' will be out real soon, AND they've just released a dreamy collaborative single with KLP. Whoooa, that's a lot to take in.

Before two of Australia’s leading electronic acts come together for beautiful soundscapes and the like, we managed to steal Gold Fields away for a Guest Mix on our FBi Click show. Across the next half an hour or so, you'll be treated to waves of soothing synths and rolls of warm beats. House jams are prevalent throughout, but everythings a lot more chilled out. It can act just as much as a club mix as it can a relaxed arvo sitting around mix.

This is as tropical as you can get for the start of an Australian winter, so let's go.
