KUČKA’s debut single ‘Flux 98’ will please your ears and leave you feeling many, many things.

With a Facebook page that describes the music genre as "electro pop or somethin", Perth’s KUČKA certainly are somethin'. Vocalist and front-lady Laura Jane Lowther will remind you of anything from Bjork to Grimes, complete with an ethereal vibe.

KUČKA’s debut single ‘Flux 98’ will please your ears and leave you feeling many, many things. It will remind you of anything from the soundtrack of a fairy film to something you can bop along to, coupled with pure electro ingenuity.

When musing over the inspiration behind ‘Flux 98’, KUČKA speaks of days where waking up and out of bed leave nothing to be excited about, however staying put with the worlds in your dreams is where the excitement lies. You certainly get this vibe when listening to the track, it feels as though you are at a point somewhere between a lullaby and a fantasy that is entirely in your subconscious.

The EP, Unconditional, is due to be dropped in August and rest assured... after hearing ‘Flux 98’ you will be in for something special. KUČKA is definitely someone who thinks about every last aspect of lyrics and sounds and how they will blend for listeners to delight themselves with.

Its an easy guess that watching KUČKA perform would be a true treat, and you are in luck! A tour kicks off this weekend.
