Live Review: Falcons 'Aquafina' Ft. GoldLink & Chaz French

With his new single 'Aquafina', LA based producer FALCONS joins the Athletixx troupe in putting out big, loud, heavy club music. He’s amongst good company with Athletixx as Hoodboi, Kittens and Promnite are all part of the collective’s ranks.

Sounding as dope as anything currently being put out by Drake, Waka Flocka Flame or the numerous members of the A$AP mob, Falcon’s debut single ‘Aquafina’ will slot perfectly into the playlists for ‘late night car cruise through the hood’ or ‘end of night banger in da clurb with the laydeez’.

A crescendo of juddering synths mark the opening of the track, which descends into a trip-hop beat filled with synth, high-hat, snares and bass. GoldLink’s bars are tight and swaggering, and the chorus is catchy enough to sound quite a lot like a Kendrick Lamar hook. Chaz French mixes up the flow, bringing an interesting rhythm that sits on top of Falcon’s trappy, trippy, warpy, Kaytranada-esque beats.
