Live Review: Tinashe ‘All Hands On Deck' (Paces Remix)

He’s a man of many words, tropical colours and intense flavours. He is PACES; a producer from the Gold Coast who knows no boundaries when it comes to brightening up a song from one extreme to another.

He’s done just this with TINASHE’s single ‘All Hands On Deck’, an incredibly seasoned slice of pop/RnB.

It’s a whirlwind of jungle flavours and sunny beats, and in true Paces style, it comes across as fun, yet incredibly well considered. However, there’s no denying the sultry tones emanating from this one. The midnight piano chords solidify the velvet smooth vocals of Tinashe herself.

Definitely a cool remix, Paces has done his usual trick here, however there’s so many little surprises in this one, it’s cool to see the producer keeping us all on our toes.

It’s always cool to see how producers deal with two worlds colliding. When RnB meets this style of dance, there’s always a chance that it can be unbalanced and quite over the top. But Paces knows his shit, and this comes across as so authentic and true to his signatures.
