Live Review: Andrei Eremin 'Recycling 2013-2015' EP

21 April 2015 | 12:00 pm | Emma Jones

"It's Andrei Eremin's remixing chops that make him more than just a producer, as he is able to completely change songs to make them his own."

ANDREI EREMIN is a name you might not yet be familiar with, but that is something that should definitely change after his latest release. Having worked behind the scenes with acts such as CHET FAKEROSCAR KEY SUNG, HIATUS KAIYOTEGLWAFIA and I'LLS to name just a few, Eremin also likes to try his hand at remixing as well.

It's his remixing chops that make him more than just a producer, as he is able to completely change songs to make them his own. He has previously demonstrated this by remixing JAPANESE WALLPAPERMILWAUKEE BANKS, and I'LLS, as well as working alongside FRACTURES for the collaborative track, 'Ghosts'. Now, he wants you to hear for yourself, and is dropping a sweet little EP-sized bundle featuring these tracks.

Recruiting RAT & CO for remix duties on Ghosts, this previously unreleased remix will be included on the Free Download collection alongside his Japanese WallpaperMilwaukee Banks and I'lls reworks. The good news doesn't stop there though, as his previously unreleased bootleg of JUICY J's 'Low' will also feature in the bundle.

Each of the five tracks is distinctly different, and highlights just how talented Eremin is. Refined, controlled and stripped back to be built up again, the diversity and variety of these mixes, as well as the completely unique and individual takes on the original tracks make for a confident and ambitious release - and one that will undoubtedly pay off.
