Live Review: MEZKO 'Steady On'

MEZKO are Laura Bailey and Kat Harley, a brand new Sydney two piece band with a grimy, punky electronic sound.

Reminiscent of the ominous shadowy sounds of Kavinsky, MEZKO’s ‘Steady On’ certainly sounds like the track which for some reason was missed off the soundtrack for Drive.

Female vocals breath ‘steady on’ over rippling synths, with ample helping of grungey guitar. They describe their sound as ‘a compound of kraut beats, synth swirls, house tones and a pop habit’.

There’s only three tracks up on their Soundcloud to date, so have a listen to some fresh new music.
