Melbourne based multi-instrumentalist JAPANESE WALLPAPER has collab-ed with Brisbane based vocalist Airling on new single, ‘Forces’.

After the success of the brilliantly blissful tracks 'Breathe In' and 'Waves', (which stole Zach Braff's heart last year) the 18 year-old powerhouse that is Japanese Wallpaper, has graced us with more of that elegantly nostalgic electronica we love so much.

As a precursor to the much-anticipated release of his upcoming EP in May, Unearthed High winner Gab Strum teams up with Airling, creating a beautiful pairing of delicate ambient sound production and dainty vocals. In ‘Forces’ we hear a crisper approach to music production from Japanese Wallpaper.

He has honed that dream-encouraging, heart-melting pop (a sound which is uniquely his) and gracefully compliments the honest lyrics coming from the ever-enchanting Airling. And together, the duo somehow manage to pull off sentimental, in the least sentimental way possible. This is a perfect indication of a young artist's maturity and the growth we will continue to see as he prospers within a musical league of his own.
