New Jersey raised, NYC based Rapper extraordinaire CAKES DA KILLA serves up another single of heart thumping rap.

After the release of his bolshie-as-hell 2014 mixtape (without a doubt one of the best damn things I heard last year) Hunger Pangs, 22 year old lyricist, poet and queer rap prodigy Rashad Bradshaw aka Cakes Da Killa has released another outrageous banger.

With the help of production mastermind Moonbase Commander, Cakes Da Killa takes ownership of himself as a serious, boundary-pushing artist not only amongst the underground queer scene, but within the rap game in general. Doing and saying what he wants, when he wants. With ‘Serve It Up', we have a track full of THAT MUCH weighty, New York City bass it’s virtually impossible to listen to and sit still to. And with sassy, syllables-crammed lyrics like

“Just 'cause you like that picture don’t mean I’ma write back”

it’s the perfect example of that hardcore, in-your-face rap of the future, turning up dance floors in NYC and all around the world.
