Live Review: Oisima 'Sun of Truth' (Official Video)

11 February 2015 | 10:53 pm | Emma Jones

Adelaide producer Oisima has released the video clip for 2014 single 'Sun of Truth', which follows three girls on an adventure through a rainforest.

Adelaide's OISIMA is one of Australia's most exciting artists right now. Last year saw him play a strong of shows including a BIGSOUND performance and supporting WILLOW BEATS on their national tour, as well as signing to CREATE/CONTROL and releasing Sun of Truth to lots of critical love.

This year is shaping up to be similarly successful, with the bearded producer releasing the beautiful film clip for his 2014 single.

Recruiting MEI SARASWATI for vocals, this tune is the ideal soundtrack to sunny days, and now it would seem we aren't the only one to think that. The accompanying visuals follow three girls on a day of adventuring from the big city to a neighbouring rainforest. Dancing, playing, drawing and sitting on moss covered rocks ensues, until they reach a river. It's here the girls dispose of their belongings into a box, before discarding it into the stream.

Full of vibes of carefree self-discovery and friendship, this clip gives you the warm and fuzzy feelings the track gives too, as OISIMA's sunkissed beats and MEI SARASWATI's gentle vocals play off each other and carry the story.

After performing on some of the country's biggest stages (Splendour in The GrassField Day) and supporting the likes of BONOBO and XXYYXX, there is no doubt that OISIMA is really beginning to come into his own. Anticipation continues to build for his debut album expected out this year, and going from Sun of TruthOISIMA still has a lot to give!
