Live Review: Loudun ft. Tashka ‘Gold’
Sydney based producer LOUDUN has teamed up with Sydney vocalist TASHKA for their killer new collaborative effort, 'Gold'.
There’s nothing we love more than local talent, and 2015 has so far proved that we’re abundant with local legends. Australia truly does have some of the most killer artists, and it’s cool to see this sudden surge of acres and acres of different producers coming out of the woodwork.
A dude I’m heaps excited to hear more from is Sydney based producer LOUDUN. He studied with Ableton Liveschool in 2014, being mentored by the likes of SEEKAE and GLOVES.
He’s created a definitive sound for himself that meshes garage, futurism and dance together into one. And it’s more evident than anything how confident his sound has become in his newest single ‘Gold’.

Featuring the vocals of TASHKA, the two have teamed up to create this lovely amalgamation of beats, soaring choruses and electronic flourishes.
‘Gold’ feels like it’s come from an artist who has been making beats professionally for years. It’s clean, polished and takes us listeners on a musical odyssey right from start to finish.
Take a listen for yourself, this collab is definitely a well-matched one, and it helps the cause that LOUDUN’s production skills are incredible.
