Experimental, psychedelic and unpredictable, three of my favorite words in the electronic music world but also three words to describe talented producer How Green.

Experimental, psychedelic and unpredictable, three of my favourite words in the electronic music world but also three words to describe talented producer How Green.

Becoming known for the unpredictable, unprompted yet enjoyable nature of his live shows, How Green, so far has an impressive discography under his belt having released two Ep’s in the past year.

‘Speak’ a recent release from the Adelaide-based producer is a colorful mixture of electronic mastering. It’s pulsating beats that move in and out over equally as pulsating vocals make for an extremely interesting and warmly layered track, creating an uneasiness that puts listeners just on ‘that right side of uncomfortable’, which How Green proudly states.

Oddly enough How Green is exactly right, being on the right side of uncomfortable, though strange, is both endearing and triggers just the right amount of head, arm and foot-tapping movement.

How Green is one of those exceptional artists that is different by nature, his tipsy, experimental, ‘uncomfortable’ melodies with psychedelic nuances, both simplistic yet clever, a show of his purposeful talent. 2015 looks to be growing busier for the Adelaide local, so be sure to check him out at the following dates.
