Sable on 'Perth's Top Shade Points'

It's time for the Perth edition of our Pretty Shady top hang outs. As some of you may know from our earlier editions, Pretty Shady are game changers in the sun protection scene. Guiding us around some of the best summer holiday cities in Australia, Pretty Shady are all about being outdoors and loving the sun this summer without getting burnt by it (with the help of some amazing local talent).

As Perth is soaring in their forever growing list of great artists, it's been hard to choose a tour guide for this one, but we decided to ask a relatively new kid on the block SABLE, the first artist to be signed to PILERATS record label and someone who we've seen rapid growth from since his development of alias SABLE. His debut EP Feels So Good was a big hit, with BASENJI releasing a remix of track Foolin', and just a couple of months ago he released a new 2 track EP Kanto which has already seen an equivalent amount of hype.

So where does this Pokemon (yes, Pokemon) obsessive party boy like to spend his time in WA? Well he's not much of a beach boy, but he has much love for good views, whether this is whilst enjoying a coffee in East Perth or fake tree eating (something I think could really take off) at King's Park. he also dabbles in rock climbing. Perth's known for it's sweltering heat, and with plenty of shaded areas around each spot, you don't need to be baking in the sun to enjoy SABLE's sweet Perth life.

1. The waterfront

"Perth <3 Much love for this city, especially from the air. I'm going to name my first spot pretty much anywhere with water you can see from this picture. Perth has a delightful waterfront and I spend a lot of time riding my bike/chilling on the grass/being near that water."

2. Bayswater Hangout

"Many many many hours spent climbing the walls in there. Going to be the same this summer for sure."

3. East Perth

"East Perth has a bunch of v. nice cafes and places to walk. My favourite place for a coffee in Perth (not the best coffee, just fave location :3 )"

4. More Industrial Tip

"My local Korean bbq restaurant. Favourite spot for lunch. Nice to sit outside in the (soon to be outrageous) Perth heat and nome some delicious bulgogi. Yum."

5. King's Park

"So much grass and space and lush views. A great spot to lay in the sun and read/hang with mates/fake eat trees lel. The beaches are amazing too but these are my personal faves ^_^"
