Melbourne lads Gabe Gleeson and Chevy Long have somehow amongst all of the madness surrounding INDIAN SUMMER, managed to put out a new track. And this one is definitely a banger.

2014 saw the boys tour Australia and the US, playing to a shit tonne of crowds that spanned festivals and solo shows. They put out multiple singles. They kept us all on our toes, eager to hear what the duo were going to put out next.

Fear no more however, as the guys have dropped another new single. Titled ‘Loveweights’, it’s an ode to all things great and good about dance music. Featuring the lovely, yet enigmatically mystic vocals from Swedish vocalist SHAQDI, ‘Loveweights’ is a musical match made in heaven.

They’ve driven the track forward with a delicate piano melody that escalates into this fanfare of heavy synths and a sickly sweet bass line. The delicate tones in Shaqdi’s vocals work well together with the soft piano, and makes the hook of the track much more intense. It’s more of a contrast than a similarity, but it is this contrast that makes the track mesh so well as a unit.

Indian Summer have killed it this year. ‘Loveweights’ just further proves that the boys are continuing on their track of domination and are always stepping it up a notch.
