Live Review: cln 'Satisfy' ft. Lou Millar

22 November 2014 | 12:00 am | Lauren Payne

Brisbane producer CLN has released a fantastic track featuring Lou Millar of Twin Caverns.

CLN has been on the rise since the release of his first single 'Better Than' and to prove that, he's just released a brand new single called 'Satisfy' and it's probably his best work yet.

The track features the vocals of Lou Millar (who you may recognise from Sydney's TWIN CAVERNS) hovering over a light beat and brooding synths that slither their way through the piece.

'Satisfy' was written in the extremely early hours of the morning as a means of productive procrastination. The sweet keys and twinkling samples are structured is a very simplistic way, keeping the power of the track tame and stable showcasing CLN's unique production skills. The man knows how to produce a great track and here he's shown us that not every great piece needs to be explosive in order to catch your attention.

'Satisfy' is a bit of a moody track, but it's one that's perfect for any situation. Whether you're at home drinking tea, driving through the brightly lit Brisbane streets or just hanging by the pool this track has a great atmosphere that can make you feel something instantly. Whilst listening to the track, there is a sense of calm and also of indecision. The lyrics are stories focusing on those who doubt themselves at many different points and it definitely suits CLN's melody to a tee.

'Satisfy' is available for free download through CLN's Facebook page and we are definitely looking forward to what this producer's got in the pipeline.
