Live Review: Client Liaison 'Feed The Rhythm' (Official Video)

15 November 2014 | 12:00 am | Emma Jones

80's inspired dance-pop duo Client Liaison have released their latest video clip for their track, Feed The Rhythm, in all it's snow-covered glory.

Purveyors of fine taste and all things Australia-In-The-Eighties, Melbourne's CLIENT LIAISON have a continually impressive knack for not only instant dance-pop hits and magnificent live performances, but also extremely entertaining film clips.

The latest clip for newest single, Feed The Rhythm stays true to their form and hows Harvey Millar and Monte Morgan in all their glory - snowsuits and all.

Set in snowy Mt Buller, the clip is a spectacle only CLIENT LIAISON themselves could pull off. It's everything you'd expect and more - scenes of MONTE and HARVEY skiing and snowboarding respectively down the mountain; being joined by gorgeous women dressed up like Austin Powers' style snowbunnies; and, of course, ending in the pair performing atop a snow-covered mountain in their token beige suits. This might actually be my favourite clip I've seen this year. Take into account HARVEY's fluorescent green snowsuit and it might be my favourite clip EVER!

Feed The Rhythm is explosive and infectious, with lyrics like, "Turn up the treble to our level," only inciting the party vibes even further. This is their latest in a slew of successful hits, including debut single End Of The Earth, and the inspirational Feelings. Each track embodies the persona of CLIENT LIAISON, and makes it impossible not to give yourself over to these guys as they beg you to dance with them.

The eccentric Melbourne duo, who have been recruited by FLIGHT FACILITIES on their national and international tour, have had a huge year. They've come a long way since they won the Unearthed slot for Melbourne's LANEWAY festival earlier this year, including their own national tour and a hugely successful BIGSOUND showcase.

If there is one band you have to see live, it's these guys. They're performing around the country over New Year's Eve as part of the FALLS FESTIVAL as well playing at ASTRAL PEOPLE's OUTSIDEIN FESTIVAL, and are looking set to have an even bigger 2015!
