Live Review: Ryan Hemsworth 'Snow In Newark' ft. Dawn Golden (Official Video)

RYAN HEMSWORTH has been doing some very interesting things of late, but nothing as interesting as what he decides to do in the music video for his latest single 'Snow In Newark'.

The track features the vocals of Dawn Golden and will be featured on his new upcoming LP Alone For The First Time, the highly anticipated follow-up to Guilt Trips.

'Snow In Newark' was released a few weeks ago and is HEMSWORTH at his best. An array of humming vocals buzz around themselves creating a purely acapella melody. It's a very unique introduction but is soon broken by a magical melody full of chimes and twangs. The track is one of the producer's softer works with Golden's deep vocals sliding in perfectly with the softer percussion and twinkling synths. 'Snow In Newark' does have a calming effect on you when you listen to it, you instantly feel relaxed and just let the music wash over you like a cool wave.

A music video has been released for 'Snow In Newark' and it does capture the calming atmosphere of the track, but in a more exotic way. The music video opens with RYAN HEMSWORTH doing that interesting thing I mentioned earlier. It opens with him shaving his head. The producer cuts off his brunette curls and travels across Nepal visiting temples and soaking in the culture of the beautiful country. It's always nice seeing HEMSWORTH in his videos and this is probably the best one yet.

Alone For the First Time will be released on November 4 through Last Gang Records and will no doubt be just as fantastic as his first release.
