Live Review: Party Supplies 'The Light In The Addict' ft. Action Bronson & Black Atlass
Party Supplies have collaborated with Action Bronson and Black Atlass to bring you a smooth new track.
PARTY SUPPLIES are a pretty rad act. The Fool's Gold signing mix edgy rock and hip-hop like none no one's business and their debut album Tough Love showed everyone their unique skill set.
The duo recently performed a brand new track with ACTION BRONSON and now we're able to stream on SoundCloud and soak in all of it's brilliance.
The new track is called 'The Light In the Addict' and not only does it feature ACTION BRONSON's rhymes, but also the soft harmonies of fellow Fool's Gold staple, BLACK ATLASS. Mixing these three acts together is probably the best thing that has happened to hip-hop in a very long time because not only do we have a sweet melody from PARTY SUPPLIES, but we have ferocious verses by ACTION BRONSON and soulful choruses from BLACK ATLASS.

'The Light In The Addict' is a smoother hip-hop track with a delicate piano track and a heavy beat working together to create a wonderful backbone for the track. ACTION BRONSON's raps lay comfortably over the melody with soft humms from BLACK ATLASS popping in and out of the melody. The piece is very relaxed but also has a bit of an emotional side to it. Every element seems to work together to create an old school R'n'B inspired piece, with a sharp guitar playing as the track closes.
Fool's Gold are re-releasing PARTY SUPPLIES debut album as a vinyl later this year and hopefully the boys will make it over our way in the near future.
