Nakagin's first single ‘Pines’ off his self titled EP is a celebration of design and structure rather than an outward bound sound.
Sydney native NAKAGIN has been hard at work crafting his forthcoming EP. Known for his sense of careful selectiveness when it comes to creating the perfect sound, there’s no doubt in our minds that the EP will be just as stunning as the teaser he’s just dropped is.
NAKAGIN’s first single ‘Pines’ of the ‘Nakagin’ EP is a celebration of design and structure rather than an outward bound sound. A focus and stress on ambience is quite obvious in his work, and translates as an honest piece of work, much similar to say a ‘stream of consciousness’ writing piece.
It’s tender, gentle and delicate in the way it’s been pieced together. Kind of like a broken vase being carefully glued back together, ‘Pines’ is a stunning collection of sounds, feelings and thoughts that work together to paint a gorgeously illustrious soundscape.

It’s one in a million, and NAKAGIN has totally immersed himself in a project that is quite innovative in its presentation. Very rarely do you come across an artist who can craft such a sound with such a palette.
