Cats @ Rocket Bar ft. Deja, Skies + More

Cats has got a jam packed evening sorted for you Adelaide, with their Friday night residency kicking off with a bang.

The Melbourne duo behind DEJA are taking their live show to Cats for the Melbourne leg of their EP tour. With their ‘Infinite Ecstatic’ EP being released just last month, they’ve upped their repertoire to a point where their live performance is nothing short of inventive and absolutely killer.

Just coming off the back of the Triple J Unearthed slot on the Listen Out Tour, they’ve certainly gained quite a bit of exposure these last few months.

Taking their blend of dream-pop meets future electronica, their borderline industrial sound takes the mood to another place.

Also playing on the night will be Adelaide 3-piece, SKIES with their emotive brand of synth-pop that “would be in the OC if it still existed.”

Haunting melodies are alight with the vocal push extended by singer Dusty Lee. It’s low-key in its approach, complicated in its prowess and powerful in its delivery.

PROBLEMS, a dreamy electronic group, will be bringing their debut EP from earlier in the year to Cats.

THE GRISWOLDS will also be there on the night to hold the festivities that will be their tour after party. Cats is hosting, so if you’re heading to their gig, head over to Cats after for cheaper entry.
