Live Review: Alison Wonderland 'Cold' (Official Video)

19 September 2014 | 6:28 pm | Lauren Payne

Alison Wonderland has released a new music video that will make you miss her Warehouse tour.

ALISON WONDERLAND has already dominated Australia and recently she's been over in the U.S entertaining our American friends too.

The producer has recently released her Calm Down EP which features an excellent energetic collaboration with LIDO, 'Cold'.

LIDO already has a series of fantastic tracks to his name and by mixing his talents with WONDERLAND's, the end result has become an instant dance-floor filler. Chopped synths and a very heavy bass play big parts in 'Cold' as well as ALISON WONDERLAND's own vocals. In the chorus WONDERLAND sings "I'm too cool for this," and highlights a story of someone who has come out of an argument comfortably on top. ALISON WONDERLAND has bite in 'Cold' and it comes through on the new music video for the track as well.

Director Prad Senanayake drew inspiration for the clip from ALISON WONDERLAND's recent warehouse tour and you can definitely see the energy mimicked in 'Cold'. Although some of the crowds actions do seem quite violent, the video is extremely similar to the parties, so much so that you would be mistaken for thinking that the video was actually filmed during one.

ALISON WONDERLAND will be back in Australia for a few festivals in the next few months so if you have the chance, definitely catch her before she disappears overseas again.
