The TBC Club Ft. Playmode

PLAYMODE are kinda mysterious. They’re actually extremely mysterious, which has caused heaps of excitement over at Brisbane’s TBC Club to the point where the event description is actually one huge exclamation in all caps. Like it should be.

They’ll be heading to sunny Brisbane this Saturday the 15th of November to take over the TBC Club and deliver their blend of house and dance.

PLAYMODE have seen huge success in the past. Their remix of LANCELOT’s ‘Ain’t Nothin' Goin' On But The Rent’ featuring NGAIIRE went to #4 on the Beatport charts. They’ve got a relatively new EP titled ‘Never Let Go’, and the two track EP was actually released by our friends over at Club Sweat (cc: Sweat It Out).

Their single ‘Never Let Go’ is this incredibly smooth traditional house mix with a bit of a twist. Playing on the importance of timing and layering, the vocal samples have been used to their utter potential and even beyond. The terraced addition of synths sees a kind of call and response with the vocals, and it’s really cool the way the two intertwine.

Their set at the TBC Club will be nothing short of killer, and will keep you dancing ambiguously into the morning.
