Dutch Duo Mason are coming to Australia! The pair are set to play in Mooloolaba, Brisbane and Sydney this month, touring the anticipated release of their latest album ZOA, set for the 5th of September through their own Animal Language label.

What can we expect from both Mason’s new album and live show? Intelligent dance music, fantastically weird and whacky at times but all importantly a sound that you can get down to. Needless to say, whether it be through the headphones or on the dance floor, listeners to Mason are in for a very good time.

For a better idea of what these guys have in store for Australia, here’s their SoundCloud Wrap.

Shinichi Osawa ‘Bang Bang’

“My favourite Japanese producer is returning on Brooklyn Fire with this bit of acid. Perfect DJ stuff.”

Purple Disco Machine ‘Musique’

“Lovely summery bit of nu-disco. Nothing more nothing less.”

Sharooz ‘Astre’

“I’ve been playing more or less everything Sharooz makes for years. Call it ’bigroom gone right’, but dark enough.”

Mason ‘Gotta Have You Back'(Mighty Mouse Remix)

“I think I’m allowed to plug something if it’s not my version, but an awesome epic remix by the Mighty Mouse. Goosebumps all over when his remix came in.”

Francky Vincent ‘Fruit De La Passion’ (L’Equipe Du Son Remix)

“Amsterdam has good a lively nu disco scene at the minute. A local dj friend of mine made this edit, which I think is just dope.”

La Roux ‘Let Me Down Gently’ (Playless Club Mix)

“Loving this remix. And Loving La Roux. And. well. this is just good.”

Zoot Woman ‘Don’t Tear Yourself Apart’

Very honoured to have Zoot Woman’s lead singer featured on our new ZOA album. They have a great new single and album out you should get acquainted with.”

The Magician ‘Sunlight’

“The wizard is striking back with this one. The first time I played it the reactions where almost scary.”

know Karate & Bunny ‘They Call Me Bunny’ (Marzetti Remix)

“Jack jack jack jack. and some more of that.”

Adam Stacks ‘On Your Feet’ (Tagteam Remix)

“I feel Tagteam Terror is a bit underestimated. Everything they touch seems to turn into gold in my option.”
