Live Review: Tokimonsta 'Drive' ft. Arama

'Drive' features the very soulful vocals of ARAMA and is basically a track that has enough sultry elements to make it a very sexy percussive piece.

TOKIMONTSA has definitely got a banger in 'Drive' and on every night of her upcoming US tour, there will no doubt be energetic dancers across every floor as the track oozes out form the speakers.

The hip-hop elements of the track are most definitely apparent in the chorus but as each verse plays out, you can hear the unique sound of TOKIMONSTA and the hollow, yet still full sounding melody seems to be just as fresh and groundbreaking as you'd think. Hand claps, deeps drums, sweet twinkles and sharp snaps all play large parts in the melody as do the distorted vocals and regular house synths you may recognise.

TOKIMONSTA definitely has another great track on her hands and if 'Drive' is anything to go by, her debut album Desiderium will be fantastic.
