Live Review: Flight Facilities 'Two Bodies' ft. Emma Louise

11 September 2014 | 7:18 pm | Lauren Payne

Flight Facilities are back with the first single from their debut album.

A few months ago FLIGHT FACILITIES announced that their debut album Down To Earth is being released this year. The album is by far one of the most anticipated releases of the year and now we have the first single from the album, 'Two Bodies', to listen to and prepare us for the energetic and ethereal sounds to come on Down To Earth.

'Two Bodies' features the wonderful vocals of Emma Louise and has a very similar vibe to 'Clare De Lune'. The track feels both relaxed and brooding as it's deeper tones are highlighted by Louise's lower vocals and the haunting synths that accompany them. Twinkling synths make 'Two Bodies' feel quite magical and the piece is a perfect introduction to the FLIGHT FACILITIES album.

Light percussion helps open the track with a short voiceover sample creating a very nostalgic effect on the piece before an almost unnoticeable transition leads us right into 'Two Bodies'. The light groove beneath the melody becomes infectious as the song plays on and soon you find yourself swaying from side to side; getting lost in the beautiful music. FLIGHT FACILITIES have proved once again that they can craft a totally amazing composition and Emma Louise gives 'Two Bodies' a life that is thoroughly enjoyed.
