Way back in 2007, a lovely band called ANIMAL COLLECTIVE released a track called 'Fireworks'. This song was very popular at the time and still is with fans of the band today however, not a lot of people have heard it just yet.

HOLOBODY, a very large electronic band from the Canada led by Luke L Ron, are fans of 'Fireworks' and they love it just enough to rally together and create an ethereal cover of the track for our ears to revel in.

The original mix done by ANIMAL COLLECTIVE has a lot of percussion pumping through it and sounds almost tribal. The vocals fight withe the percussion for domination in the song but it's the melody and crashing cymbals that seem to break up the fight as the song moves on. 'Fireworks' is one of ANIMAL COLLECTIVE's most memorable songs from their early career and HOLOBODY have given it a brand new life that we can now all get used to.

In HOLOBODY's cover, the vocals are the clearly the leading figure as swooping synths and heavy stomps of percussion walk steadily behind it. 'Fireworks' now seems to have a very clear melody that sounds more clarified than ANIMAL COLLECTIVE's original. ANIMAL COLLECTIVE are known for creating some very experimental music and HOLOBODY ave taken the unique track and brought down to and easier level and given it some simple tuning.
