Live Review: Golden Features 'Tell Me' ft. Nicole Millar (Bixel Boys Remix)
Bixel Boys have remixed Golden Features collaborative track with Nicole Millar 'Tell Me'
GOLDEN FEATURES, the mysterious and talented producer who stunned us recently at Splendour In The Grass, teamed up with NICOLE MILLAR for 'Tell Me'.
The track has a wonderful atmosphere that feels both soothing and energetic as it grooves along. 'Tell me' has also been remixed by the BIXEL BOYS and, well, you couldn't expect it to be anything less than amazing.
The original mix for 'Tell Me' has an extremely deep house vibe where the bass thumps all the way through the track becoming it's main driving force. MILLAR's vocals of course keep everything light-hearted and vibrant with it soaring above the melody like a majestic enigma of sorts.
BIXEL BOYS have been all over the shop recently playing tunes at a variety of music festivals and releasing their own killer original tracks but their new remix of 'Tell Me' will definitely put them back on your radar. Their new rework of the track gives it a bit more grit and with a variety of crunchy synths working their magic on 'Tell Me', the track has now become a staple dance floor filler.

The chorus is the perfect example of that because after MILLAR's voice builds it up, the chorus suddenly bursts to life with warmer synths buzzing across the more hollow sounding bass. Sweet garage samples do make appearances throughout the track but basically 'Tell Me' has been transformed into the perfect dance track and now both GOLDEN FEATURES and BIXEL BOYS have their own versions to be proud of whilst MILLAR, has both.
The track will be released online to buy on September 9.
