Live Review: Duke Dumont 'Won't Look Back' (Shadow Child Remix)
Duke Dumont has had his track 'Won't Look Back' transformed for the clubs by Shadow Child
DUKE DUMONT released 'Won't Look Back' not too long ago and now we have been blessed with a remix to that gem of a song.
The remix has been produced by SHADOW CHILD, a fellow UK producer who has been floating around the electronic scene since 2012.
SHADOW CHILD has given 'Won't Look Back' a brilliant new face that really falls in well with the strong, 90's style vocal track, so if you weren't ready for a time warp before, you better be now. With the garage elements and the mega vocals, 'Won't Look Back' feels like it was almost meant to be a nod to the garage tracks of yester-millenium.

A heavy bass drives the 'Won't Look Back' rework home. It thumps on throughout the tracks six-minute duration whilst the vocals soar high over the buzzing garage samples and house synths. The samples and synths sound like they were meant to be blended together, with them both buzzing together as they pump on through the single. The garage elements seem to be more highlighted in the verses, with the synths humming alongside the vocals, whilst the house beats help the bass pump on through the drops in the piece.
SHADOW CHILD has given 'Won't Look Back' a makeover that makes it club-ready. If you're not dancing to this remix already, you definitely will be next time your out one night and in the mood for a good time.
