Live Review: Andras & Oscar 'Everytime I Go'

Bands and producers all vie for the same coveted golden crown, an album that will last the seasons and for it to still sound gold though out. It is not an impossible feat but one that very few actually come close.

Melbourne heroes Andras Fox and Oscar Key Sung give their all and they come through with a classy debut album (bar their previous short release 'Embassy Cafe'), this album is seamless down to the high-styled whistling bits.

First single 'Everytime I go' finds Andras & Oscar exploring foreboding brooding thoughts and matching them with easy-listening lounge music, the combination feels unsettling at first listen but as you delve deeper, the track slithers anxiously into your good books. On this track alone, it has very much revealed the duo's sharp ears for finding fluidity between movement and song, fuelling a track that burns with a forceful flame and a deeply marked groove at the end.
