Live Review: RL Grime 'Core' (Official Video)

19 July 2014 | 12:00 am | Adriana Barro

The bold new tune 'Core' from RL GRIME's forthcoming album now has some equally as bold visuals to go with it.

'Core' from RL GRIME's forthcoming album (which is set for release later in the year via Wedidit) is bold, loud and heavy. So what better way to depict this track in the video clip than with a bunch of helicopters and various other futuristic battle spec machinery?

In the chaotic new visuals for 'Core', directed by David Rudnick and Dan Swan, RL GRIME's track which is packed full of air horn synths and big bass drops is emphasised through the use of plenty of artificial lights, bright colours and an intense, face paced vibe that only adds to the dramatic feel of this huge track. Overall this clip is a total shock to the sensory system and will probably make you feel like you've fallen into some kind of sci-fi video game fantasy world, nothing wrong with that right?

RL GRIME is one of the many acts including FATBOY SLIM, CHANCE THE RAPPER and ACTION BRONSON that are said to be performing as part of the 2014 edition of the Mad Decent Block Party tour, keep a close eye on this one.
