Live Review: Zimmer ft. KLP 'Sensify Me' (Canblaster Remix)

1 July 2014 | 11:26 pm | Hannah Galvin

French producer Canblaster has remixed Zimmer's single, 'Sensify Me', featuring the vocals of Australia's own KLP.

French producer CANBLASTER has been keeping himself busy this year by remixing the tracks of his peers. Previously integrating his style into songs from KlaxonsGush and Cashmere Cat, his attention this time has been turned onto French pal ZIMMER with his single 'Sensify Me', featuring vocals from Australia's very own KLP!

Zimmer's original was a track of love and lust, painted with palm trees and toucans to make its electronic background. Canblaster, however, has allowed day to fall into night and cranked up the level of sex apparent in the darker version of this tune. Cutting, elongating and reverberating vocal samples is one aspect of this esteemed theme, though its been further explored through the saucy manipulation of the sonic wall.

The heavy drop of the beat, constant exchange of pitch levels in the melody and huge lineup of notable samples rung throughout the entire course of the remix, Canblaster's 'Sensify Me' rendition is steamy, addictive and eagar to pounce on your adventurous side.
