Live Review: Cyril Hahn 'Slow' ft. Rochelle Jordan

24 July 2014 | 12:00 am | Lauren Payne

Cyril Hahn has produced another wonderful track for his upcoming EP Voices.

CYRIL HAHN is another producer that we've seen slowly take over the electronic market. With a series of remixes and original work under his belt, this man made is mark on 2014 quite early on and is making sure that it stays there. HAHN has released a brand new original track that is simply called 'Slow'.

It features the vocals of Vancouver-based singer Rochelle Jordan as well as some very soulful synths that produce a very groovy sound.

'Slow,' along with CYRIL HAHN's earlier original piece 'Breaking', will be featured on the producers forthcoming Voices EP which is already proving to be a pretty stellar collection of tracks. The Canadian-based producer has showed us that he has a hell of a lot of talent and with Voices we're sure to see even more fantastic work from him as each single continues to drop.

'Slow' is quite similar to 'Breaking' as both tracks seem to follow a very natural and smooth melody. 'Slow' has a very velveteen melody that features some wonderful synth work that holds a few disco elements inside it. The vocal mix seems to fall hand in hand with the melody as it echoes throughout the track, bringing the softer side of HAHN's work together in a wonderful bottle of misty goodness.

The Voices EP will be released through PMR Records very, very soon. We would have mentioned the release date if we knew it, however we must wait patiently and melt into the sounds we have been given for now.
