Bon Chat, Bon Rat are premiering their EP 'Burning Palms' following the release of the lead single 'Escapism'.

Sydneysiders BON CHAT, BON RAT have worked their hearts out for the past two years to produce a stunning EP for your listening pleasure entitled 'Burning Palms'. This comes following the debut of their lead single from the EP 'Escapism'.

Reece Cooper and Russell Smith make up the duo who have broken out of the Sydney electronic underground just four years ago. 'Burning Palms' contains nine haunting tracks that will satiate your need for atmospheric House and stunning lyrical and vocal work.

'Escapism' features Sydney landmarks set amongst complex percussion work and flowing guitar that maintains brooding and longing elements. Their second track entitled 'Hack' is a mix of static sounds that creates a short yet sweet instrumental that tickles and weaves.

'Overland' is filled with dark synth work and echoing vocals. The warbling nature of the track gives an underwater feeling and will cause the listener to drift away with the stoic flow of the tune. The title track 'Burning Palms' is ghostly and eerie in its tones that shimmer like trees basking in the sun and wind. Their work is very emotive and creates imagery through pure instrumentals- a hard yet beautiful feat.

The final track, 'Mara's Daughters' is an electronic wonderland. Sampling elements of Drum and Bass with Deep House, BON CHAT, BON RAT completes their stunning EP with a playful track that still remains overwhelmingly and simply haunting.
