HOMETOWN GUIDE: Sebastien Tellier on Paris
France’s SEBASTIEN TELLIER has crafted a brand of thematic, electronica musical goodness with every release under his name.
With his sixth album L’Aventura released earlier in the year, Tellier continues to deliver his dulcet vocals and ever-evolving sound to fans across the globe, even providing the musical background for Chanel‘s Spring 2014 Haute Couture show.
Recently, the chic musical all-rounder shared with Purple Sneakers his personal picks for places to venture at in his hometown of Paris.
BURGER KING AT SAINT LAZARE
“I love it because it’s the most popular restaurant in Paris. There’s a 2 hour line from the morning to the night. Ok, it’s the only Burger King in Paris…”
LE CRYSTAL LOUNGE
“A zenith for the suburbanites thirsty for money. Vulgarity has sometimes some good…”
“The most artistic, poetic district in Paris. I “travelled” a lot in Paris to know where I wanted to live. And that’s the best place to live to my opinion. It’s the district of Erik Satie, Toulouse Lautrec… I’m very happy to be here, walk around.. My “dolce vita”.”
“You will find the best pizzas in the world. I always spend my holidays in Italy, but I’ve never found better delights there. It’s in the 18th district.”
“This theater has the best sound in France. It’s almost impossible to miss a show there.”
