Following Matt Cutler aka Lone around the sun-drenched Lisbon, this is the official video for his new track 'Aurora Northern Quarter'.

LONE  is the musical baby of UK producer Matt Cutler, whose early days were spent experimenting with early 90s Hardcore, Hip Hop and Electronic music. Kicking things off in 2007 with his debut release, Cutler has progressed from the earlier hip-hop/techno tones to the more ambient, electronic soundscapes as heard in his recent body of work.

Taken from the mere day-old Reality Testing album, 'Aurora Northern Quarter' is a soft yet fidgety track intertwined with keys, synths, muted pulse of bass end beats and a subdued, yet ever so present air-like quality throughout the song. The track feels like a constant sigh of relief, even with the contrast of delicate windchimes, kick drums and jazz-fusion chords.

The video documents a whole day's progression, as it trails after Cutler during a trip to Portugal. The light-quality of the tune befittingly opens the video with a vision of orange and purple hazed clouds, seen as the plane glides on by.

As it evolves into a tracking shot of an aiport tarmac, the adventure through Lisbon begins as Cutler pursues skateboarding related activities whilst catching glimpses of the town's surroundings, culture and people. It's a chilled-out clip that allows the tune to breathe and the listener to bask in its cruisey-calm.
