Live Review: Riton ft. Meleka 'Inside My Head' (Fake Blood Remix)
Fake Blood returns with a killer remix of Riton ft. Meleka's R & B packed track 'Inside My Head'.
If you are a fan of FAKE BLOOD, chances are you were at one stage involved in some sort of underground dance rave scene. These days of yore would have resonated with you and the familiar warbling from the British producer will bring joy to your life.
Be prepared for the walk down memory lane that the remix of 'Inside My Head' by RITON ft. MELEKA will bring. The Garage House sounds that start the track are combined with galactic synth and trashed bass. Soulful vocals are distorted to adhere to Fake Blood's aesthetic and become a welcome element to the mix. Manic purring can be heard and adds to the industrial House vibe.
What the track lacks in flow, it makes up for with the purposeful exhibiting of jarring beats and early 90s R & B vocals. This tapestry of effects stay true to Fake Blood's aesthetic while allowing the original tune to shine through. This is the reason why Fake Blood still reigns on a giant jewel encrusted House throne in this reviewer's heart.

It is nigh impossible to hold yourself back from jiving to this remix of 'Inside My Head'. In fact, the gritty bass and dirty whirling synth may even incite you, dear reader, to fix yourself a drink at a completely inappropriate hour on a Monday. Sorry.
