Live Review: Jason Burns & Sarah Winters 'Lightweight'

JASON BURNS & SARAH WINTERS have teamed up to produce a breathy, dreamscape styled track entitled 'Lightweight'. This tune will leave you feeling lightheaded, snuggly, and in awe of the sheer talent of the duo.

To first understand how this came about one must break down the two counterparts. Jason Burns hails from the eclectic city of Portland and specialising in Bass Beats. He is a master of Garage House beats mixed with deep R & B tones. Sarah Winters is an LA based songstress that adds a certain life to 'Lightweight' that makes this track memorable and inviting.

The intricate beating of the synth creates a pleasant yet menacing tone to the song while Winters dreamy vocals reach out into the darkness to pull the bass out into the light. The yearning and melancholy of the lyrics bounce between the peppery beats and juxtapose nicely to create an atmospheric and impish track.

With the marriage of these two talented artists comes 'Lightweight', a song that tears apart the heart strings much like those would reserve for maniacally plucking the talons from a daisy, wondering 'Does he love me?
