Dan Snaith is back as Caribou and is set to release his new record 'Our Love' come this October.

CARIBOU fans, rejoice! The four years of waiting is now over as Dan Snaith is set to release a new album come 3rd of October.

Entitled 'Our Love'this will be Snaith's latest release under his alias of CARIBOU - if not counting his 2012 record 'Jialong' as DAPHNI - and will feature collaborations with Jessy Lanza and Owen Pallet.

Though retreating away in his basement studio for the creation of his latest work, "Our Love isn't the sound of isolated creation but the sound of Dan at his most connected - with love for his listeners, his collaborators and those closest to him." And with that, we get a glimpse into what awaits, with this first single off the upcoming album release, the track 'Can't Do Without You'.

Noted as his "most soulful record to date", 'Can't Do Without You' is simultaneously straightforward and complex. Kicking things off with a vocal loop and a brooding, mechanical synth foundation serving as the song's skeleton whilst the delicate warbles of 'I can't do without you' fleshes out the track's body.

It's a song that thrives off constant plays with volume swells and dips, all peaking into a swirling, chaotic ball of noise - only to immediately unfurl and be stripped back to an unnervingly vulnerable sparseness, as the vocal phrase trails off into its silent conclusion. It's a beautiful piece of production that's definitely been worth the wait.

'Our Love' is available for pre-order via iTUNES.
